Dardanelle ARDOT Highway 7 Widening Meeting

🚧 Big changes are planned for Highway 7 through Dardanelle — and ARDOT wants to hear from you!

If you regularly travel Union Street, you’ll want to take a look at what’s being proposed.

ARDOT is planning to widen Highway 7 from the Arkansas River bridge to the Taco Bell intersection, with a center turn lane, intersection improvements, sidewalks and drainage upgrades.

💰 The project carries an estimated construction price tag of $20 million to $30 million.

Mayor Jimmy Witt says the meeting isn’t just for Dardanelle residents. Anyone who travels through town is encouraged to come see the plans, ask questions and share feedback.
