RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys are packing up their clubs and heading to Missouri, looking to make some noise on the leaderboard as the fall golf season continues.

Ranked No. 13 in the nation, the Wonder Boys will be among 12 teams competing in the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19-20, at Twin Hills Golf Club in Joplin, Missouri.

The tournament will feature 54 holes of golf on the par-72, 6,842-yard course, with plenty of action packed into the opening day.

Representing Arkansas Tech in the team competition will be Jacob Peetoom, Sebastien De Vooght, Alex Miller, Nicholas Norris and Cameron Twynholm.

Two more Wonder Boys, Ben Braswell and CJ Guthrie, will compete as individuals, giving Tech seven golfers in the field.

And Monday will be a busy one.

The tournament gets underway with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start, and golfers will play 36 holes before calling it a day. The second round will begin shortly after the first wraps up.

Arkansas Tech will be grouped with Missouri Southern and Northwestern Oklahoma, while Braswell and Guthrie will play alongside individual competitors from Drury and Henderson State.

Tuesday’s final round will complete the 54-hole tournament, with tee times determined by Monday’s results.

Fans back home won’t have to wait until the end of the day to see how the Wonder Boys are doing. Live scoring will be available throughout the tournament, making it easy to follow Tech’s progress as the team takes on the competition in Joplin.
